Best Nba player of ALL TIME? WHY????

consider this... Chamberlains 100 pt. game and averaged 50 pts. in a season!!!..., Jordans 6 finals MVPs and 30.1 pt. career average (highest)!!..., Russell's 11 finals rings!!!..., Kareem's 38,000 career pts!!!-- the most of all time... WHO do you think is the Best???

Best Nba player of ALL TIME? WHY????nba live 2007

Jordan

Best Nba player of ALL TIME? WHY????nba betting ,nba teams

jordan followed by kobe at a close second....
Shaquille O'NEal is the greatest of all time. Everything he touches in the NBA turns to gold. Kobe and Dwayne have both blossomed into two of the biggest stars in the NBA. HE wins, scores, and just the prescence of him alters teams game plans to stop him. He even has his own defensive scheme by the name of "hack-a-shaq." And after all that, teams still can't stop him.
Based on stats I think that Jordan is the best player of all time considering he opened a new door to the game of basketball. However, I believe that LeBron James will be making and breaking some of those records. He is a young player and already playing like some of the vets have never played before.
Oh, you crazy young'uns. The Big "O" was the best all around player ever. Players beat their chests over a triple double game these days. Oscar Robertson AVERAGED a triple double over the course of the 1962 season. Jordan was great no doubt, Oscar is right there with him. He just never gets the props he deserves.
i'd have to say MJ.

however, magic, kareem, wilt, and the O are all up there.

i can't believe fools are putting iverson on this list. rofl.
jordan
Bill Russell because Russell has 11 finals rings. He was unstoppable.
MJ won and earned 6 rings. He willed himself and team to win. The guy that says Kobe is high. The next closest in the NBA is Dwayne Wade out of Marquette Univ,Milwaukee. of course talking now on the Wade thing.
jordan.......the name speaks for itself
Jordan. It's not even a question.

However, that may change in 15 years or so.
yip MJ
Right now it's chamberlain but in about 10 years its going to be Iverson.
MJ is the greatest no doubt about it

wade isnt the greatest and doesnt even

compare to MJ he is "more like Iverson"-postgame
Michael Jordan...if you have to ask why, I pity you.
Michael Jordan...no question
Oscar Robertson...best all around team player

Jordan shouldn't even be in the top 5 of all time.
Bill Russell...He HAS THE MOST RINGS...MICHEAL JORADAN HE CHANGE THE NBA TOTALLY WHEN HE ARRIVED..........

The best Phoenix Suns team ever is...?

(a) The 1975-76 Phoenix Suns, season record: 42-40, who pushed a superior Boston Celtics team to 6 games in the 1976 NBA Finals and played The Greatest Game Ever, a 128-126 triple-overtime loss in Game 5 at the Boston Garden.

(b) The 1992-93 Phoenix Suns, season record: 62-20, who pushed the MJ-led Chicago Bulls to 6 games before a last second 3-pointer by Bulls' guard John Paxson silenced the America West Arena home crowd and the Suns themselves, finally vanquished by a score of 99-98.

(c) The 2006-07 Phoenix Suns, season record: TBD, currently on pace for 64+ wins and the number 2 seed in the Western conference, sporting a starting lineup of Steve Nash, Raja Bell, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw (occassionally Kurt Thomas, Leandro Barbosa and James Jones step in, too, whenever Suns' coach Mike D'Antoni feels the need to experiment the his 8-man rotation).

Paul

The best Phoenix Suns team ever is...?nba draft prospects

No the PISTONS are they got 186 pts in a game

The best Phoenix Suns team ever is...?nba 2k ,nba teams

1993 was the best team ever, period. Barkley was the greatest!!! Report It

phoenix sucks
id love to say C. i love how the team plays and how theyre led by Nash. the team is a dangerous one that can rack up the points in a hurry. then off the bench they have good role players that can help defend and hit the open shots.

however i would have to argue that team B is the best. and the reason for that is because the team WENT TO THE NBA FINALS! going to the finals surely makes them the better team.

that was a good team with regular season MVP Charles Barkley running the team with solid role players like Dan Majerlie and Kevin Jonhson. they were also a very well coached team. because of their success, their ability to get to the Finals, and the fact that they had a regular season MVP, would make me give the nod to team B
I'm not quite for sure what the above post meant, but I'm going with (C). 2006-2007 Suns.

Amare Stoudamire may be one of the best players in the NBA, and is the top 1 or 2 at his position. (Howard is right there)

Everyone is capable of scoring 20+ every game w/ exception of Jones (streaky shooter) %26amp; Thomas (not enough creativity).
I'm gunna say C......though I was around for the 92-93 season and I have to say the atmosphere in Phoenix supporting the team was a whole lot better, not that its bad now.....I just remember everyone wearing purple and orange around town....people writing "Go Suns" on their roofs....people were selling suns shirts and merchandise on the street corners around town.....etc
no way. their 2004-2005 season was the best. we got Steve Nash, we had a 62-20 record, and we were the most unstoppable team in the league.
i, too, am not sure what the heck that pistons person is talking about, but i'm going with C. They have the most complete team, besides the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. All of their players, except for amare and thomas and burke can drain threes. Marion, Diaw, and Stoudemire are great and talented forewards. Nash and Barbosa are the best 1-2 point guards in the nba. Not to mention, Mike D'Antoni is one of the best coaches in the NBA.

Who am i???

Im from the state of Virginia like

I led my high school to over 50 straight wins

Sounds like Alonzo Mourning. I was thinking Larry Johnson, but he's retired although they did fight when Zo was in Miami and LJ was in New York.

Why don't people take the injuries of Andrew Bynum and other Lakers into consideration and say

Bynum played only 35 games, Gasol played only 27 games and kobe played every game this year and has kept this team afloat and yet why do people keep saying he's not MVP

Lets see...His team has a higher record than Paul

Kobe's team hasn't been healthy all year and still had a higher record than Paul's team...Paul's team has been healthy all year. Take away Chandler for half a season and lets see how he does

Kobe still puts up jaw dropping stats

Kobe has beaten every elite team in the NBA

Kobe has helped his 4th youngest team become the 2nd best road team in the NBA

Kobe has one border line all star in Pau Gasol while Paul has one legit premier power forward in David West and a borderline all star in Tyson Chandler

He played with stone hands Kwame brown for half a season who is a major liabilty

ltes not forget the dislocated pinky that he's playing with as well

so then why do people keep trying to discredit him?

he has the stats, the team record, beating good teams...not enough?

Why don't people take the injuries of Andrew Bynum and other Lakers into consideration and say Kobe is not MVPnba playoff

REVISED!!!

ARE you kidding me?!?! Going off stats ALONE, David West isnt even in the top 5. Boozer, Duncan, Garnett, Al Jefferson (vastly under rated), Chris Bosh AND Dirk Nowitski all have better stats. And that's NOT including Dwight Howard and Amare Stoudamire who are ORIGINALLY and naturally Power Forwards but due to changed on their teams, are forced to play center. So stop throwing stats when anyone can do it. West averaged 20 and 9 which are good numbers but 3rd best, get your head out of your ***, hasnt done it long enough to claim that honor. Especially when Gasol averages 19 and 8 this season and odom averaged 14 and damn there 11. which is conservative since we both know he can put up WELL over that in terms of scoring. MY BAD ON THE PAU GASOL UPSET BID SPURS COMMENT, I can't be sure who exactly I was talking about BUT he was an all-star and ALWAYS put up the numbers david west has put up.

And are you suggesting that Chandler is JUST better because of Byron Scott? Really bro..?? Look at his career stats, did you say somewhat of an all-star? this year is the FIRST YEAR he has ever averaged double digit scoring.. and he has 11!!!! The rebounding and blocks have always been there but he now gets exposure cause he is on a winning team and does all the little things teams need to win but an all-star? hardly? If 11 and 12 makes you an all-star, than what's Odom who puts up 14 and 11? You can throw stats all you want you petty Laker fan, and make some good arguements, i gave you that earlier, but in the end, you are like the MILLIONS of band wagon, used to be Jordan fan loving, closed minded idiots who don't budge an inch and are, well... close minded. He is the best player in basketabll but get off his balls for 2 seconds and respect what Paul did for his team this year. If I told you BEFORE THE SEASON to rate where Kobe Bryant/ Pau Gasol and lamar Odom take you, you would say TOP OF THE WEST, I wouldnt, i would have prolly said the Spurs still, but where would you have put the Hornets BEFORE the season started? Not 2 I bet, Chris paul has done a lot with what I call a little but go ahead and over exaggerate the Hornets to make your Kobe defense for legit, I'm not argueing with you about Kobe THE MVP, just a little irked you gae NO PROPS to CP3 who had done more in his first 3 seasons than a lot of point guards do in their careers. And tuck in that Jordan jersey ya jackass, its hangin out the back of your new kobe one.

Why don't people take the injuries of Andrew Bynum and other Lakers into consideration and say Kobe is not MVPnba stats ,nba teams

I dont like the fact that the MVP became a "team" award. Nobody considered Magic having HOF teammates when he won he's MVP, not even Bird's. If you consider Magic having Kareem and Worthy, Bird having McHale and Parish then these two wont win their MVPs. Kobe is the best individual in the sport and he deserves to be MVP, that's all you need to consider.
Why do Kobe fans have to consistently post this crap. You guys think that no one thinks Kobe deserves it. Guess what?....It doesn't matter who got the MVP. The haters will come out of the wood work. So stop feeling sorry for Kobe because some people don't agree that he is an MVP.
Not to worrry. Some people will never like Kobe. They'll find every dirt they think Kobe has - that's what they're good at.
Good statement, fact there's some peopel hate kobe no matter what he do.
whatever they say KOBE is still the BEST and is the MVP!!!
Yeah mate! Tell them that!
...haters...plain and simple...
becouse hes kobe
I am not saying that Kobe doesn't deserve the MVP trophy but all the Laker fans need to get their heads out of each others @sses and shut the F*ck up. He is getting the trophy tonight.

Wow what a better record than Paul, one game. Lakers haven't been healthy all year is waste of breath, the Rockets played most of the year without either T-mac or Yao and almost won the West. They pretty much got Gasol for nothing. And when I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that the Celtics would beat the Laker in the finals if they met, Laker fans were coming out of the wood work to tell me how great the Laker big 3 was Kobe/gasol/odam and how things would be different when Bynum comes back.

I don't think CP3 deserves it only because he has not been in the league as long as Kobe. He still needs to tack on some more experience before they call him League MVP. Finals MVP maybe but not league. Plus he is the point guard for his team so is expected to lead his team not be the scorer for his team.

That is all I have to say, Congrats Kobe and Lakers fans STFU!!!!!!!!
KOBE GET IT... he hes was second in the stats category 2nd in the record ...and he did beat good teams and most talented i might add

KG was far behind in the stats had the best record in the nba tho....beat good teams

Lebron was first in the stats and far behind in the team records....with the mvp candidates

CP3 had a great season and was close with kobe i dunno id say kobe had better stats..Also cp3 finished 2 in the west behing the lakers ie Kobe seeing with injuries meanwhile still had a good bench and to end this kobe has deserved the MVP for like 3 years now and people who say that dosetn matter......Kobe will go down as one of the greats and how will that look on the nba for not giving kobe an mvp award while he had one of the best teams and was one of the best players? and to end all of this im a denver nuggets fan lol and i watched firsthand kobe rip apart my nuggets with sum help from gasol in game one lol
I would honestly say that Chris Paul deserves it, as he's taken a team that wasn't very good and helped them one of the best records in the West.

Even if you discount Bynum and Gasol, which I wouldn't ,you still have to factor in Lamar Odom, who also carried the team during stretches, and Fisher (pretty sure i spelled the name wrong).

However I do agree that Kobe deserved one and the fact that somehow during his entire career he has never won one is baffling.

But if he were looking at this year alone at impact and value I'd have to say Chris Paul.
First and foremost because we Laker fans have a propensity for being obnoxious about our support of Kobe Bryant. Have you noticed that the only reasonable response to factual evidence is "Kobe hater"? How unintelligent is that?!

This is a regular season award so any argument about the playoffs is irrelevant. If you DO take the playoffs into consideration, CP3 is the clear winner. Eliminated the Mavs and now two up on the dynastic Spurs? He'd be your hands down MVP if that was even remotely relevant.

You can't say Kobe wins it because if his stats. That argument is simply inaccurate. If stats is what decides this award, then keep these in mind:

- Chris Paul beat Kobe in the following categories: Assts, Steals, Double-Doubles, FG%, FT%, steals and had fewer turnovers.

- Lebron beat Kobe in Pts, Assts, Rebs, Dub-Dubs and they tied in steals.

One borderline all-star? Pau Gasol was the '02 NBA Rookie of the Year, '06 FIBA World Championship MVP, and '06 NBA all-star. Derek Fisher lead the Jazz to the finals! Did you forget or did you stop tuning in after the Lakers went out in the first round? Just because he isn't an all-star, that doesn't mean he isn't quality. Lamar Odom was on the All-Rookie First Team and tore it up all-star weekend.

If you're going to make statements, shouldn't you at least check to see if they're true first? Nobody is trying to discredit him. We're discrediting YOU for spouting false information.

Since stats aren't the deciding factor and neither is being the best player on the best team (Garnett), what is this about? It's about flair. Kobe Bryant is one of the top 3 entertainers in the game. He'll elevate and knock down jumpers with 2 people in his face, 1 on his back, and another biting him in the ankle. Unfortunately, that's not the basis for crowning an MVP.

I could do this all night as I kill time before the game starts but let me leave you with this: If it was true and deserved, why is it that no two people can nail down why it happened? Why is it the reasons people come up with are easily dismissed as false when countered with facts?

The voters must be on the BCS system for MVP voting. Kobe's high seed must've pushed him over the top of all the players that played better than he did.

(Whew, made it through without mentioning his divisive "leadership style" ... d'oh!)

Should there be an asterisk next to the Lakers threepeat?

Should there be an asterisk next to the Lakers threepeat of 2000, 2001, and 2002?

The Spurs won the NBA title in 1999 and swept the Shaq-Kobe-Horry and Jackson coached Lakers 4-0, but then Duncan blew out a knee like in game #78 of the 82 game regular season in 2000 and had major knee surgery and didn't play in the 2000 playoffs. Also, in the 2001 playoffs and the 2002 playoffs in each of the Spurs last western conference round losses, Duncan's knee was giving out on him for the first time in each of those two seasons in 2001 and 2002 in the Spurs last round of the playoffs which led to the Spurs elimination from the 2001 and 2002 playoffs as Duncan hobbled around on one leg in those playoffs.

Finally, in 2003, Duncan's knee was healthy again for the first time throughout the entire playoffs and the 2003 Spurs again beat the Shaq-Kobe-Horry and Jackson coached Lakers without much of a problem as the Spurs went on to win the 2003 NBA title.

Duncan's knee = Lakers threepeat

Should there be an asterisk next to the Lakers threepeat?nba live 2008

Yeah!

They cannot do it if Tim Duncan is healthy.

Should there be an asterisk next to the Lakers threepeat?nba live 2005 ,nba teams

hell nah spurs would never compare to what the lakers where in those seasons we had KOBE SHAQ HORRY FISHER RICE FOX SHAW ETC..... ur just a sore loser like all spur fans!!! LAKERS FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!
I agree w/ 'calfan' that the Spurs title in 1999 should be the only championship that has an * next to it because of the strike shortened season. The 3-peat was completely legit and nobody should take away what Shaq accomplished during the Lakers' dynasty run.
Maybe there should be an asterisk everytime other team wins the title.

I'm putting the asterisk now,

2003: If Rick Fox and Devean George weren't injured.

2004: If the format were still 2-2-1-1-1

2005: If the refs don't call Ts on Rasheed

2006: If Dirk didn't sprained his ankle

2007: If Amare and Diaw were playing

The list could change every year.
No. Injuries are a part of sports. Should the Lakers give back the 1988 game when Isaiah Thomas sprained his ankle? Should the Bulls give back the 1991 championship because Byron Scott and James Worthy both went down with injuries in Game 3?
Doesn't matter what happened to Tim's knee the Lakers won. Could they have beat those Lakers...possibly yes. Could the Lakers have beat a healthy San Antonio...possibly yes. Either way I still think the Spurs were the better team since their core is still together dominating and winning rings, while the Laker core from that team couldn't stay together chemistry wise, which is part of being a great team, and in their last days together they were defeated multiple times. Also though that was a high powered and talented Laker team, I think they are giving more credit than due...they advanced in the playoffs against the Trailblazers and the Kings due to mainly poor game time coaching decisions...aside from those poor decisions by you guessed it ALDEMAN %26amp;DUNLEAVY....the Lakers were being handled by both the Kings and Blazers during that period.

SPURS are the team of the decade...but the Lakers did win those championships fair and square...and that's coming fom a true SPURS fan....unlike most Laker fans we can be fair and objective.
No, an asterisk isn't necessary because a player on another team was injured. The only NBA event involving the Spurs that could possibly require an asterisk would the 1999 Championship during the shortened regular season!!!
If Duncan is healthy Spurs might have won two of the three. 2002 Lakers beat a healthy Spurs. Next year they signed Manu and won that title. In '04, Derek Fisher hits the shot that shouldn't have counted (no one in the world can catch a ball turn around and shoot it in .4 seconds). In '05 Spurs win title. In '06, Manu commits stupid foul on Dirk at the end of the game. Now in '07 Spurs are champs again. If all those things went right for the Spurs this would be their 6th or 7th title.
Explain 2004. Maybe we need an asterisk by the Spurs 1999 cause Patrick Ewing never played in that post-season.

Maybe we put asterisks by Houston's 1994 and 1995 because Jordan was retired. Maybe asterisks by Bullets 79 and Lakers 80 because we all know that Portland Trailblazers would have won them if Bill Walton didn't injure himself again.

This is one of the stupid proposals ever made.
WHy would there be an asterisk just because a player got injured? That's gotta be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. It figures that its coming from arrogant Spurs fans.
If anything, there should be asterisk on the Spurs' first title, because the season was cut short because of the lock-out.
The 1998-1999 Lakers were led by Del Harris and Kurt Rambis, not Phil Jackson. Although, Del Harris did not make it to the playoffs as he was fired early in the season and Kurt Rambis took over. The Spurs (Tim Duncan) actually beat out the Lakers under an interim coaching staff. It would have been nice to see Tim Duncan go up against a Phil coached team in 1999-2000 but sometimes things just happen as it was bad decision making on behalf of the Spurs coaching staff to play #21's reconstructed knee for ALL 82 GAMES!!!

Lakers dominate at the turn of the new Millenium (that just sounds so beautiful, new Millenium Domination). It just took Duncan too long to heal completely, as we never got to see a healthy #21 against the Lakers during these years.
Nice one! They should put an asterisk next to each Lakers championship between 2000 to 2002. That's really not legit!
I'm most definitely not a Laker fan, but NO!

I hate the whole asterisk thing, it sucks that Duncan blew out his knee in 2000, but that is the breaks of the game.

We could easily say that the Heat should have an asterisk, because Amare blew out his knew last year and didn't play for the Suns, but why? Do we really think the Suns would have won it all? No!

A three-peat is phenomenal in this day in age, even with star players injured.

Lebron fans, what makes you believe that Lebron should be the MVP?

The MVP is the best player on the best team. Thats the criteria that NBA uses.

Which means that it comes down to two players:

Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett.

since Kevin Garnett missed 9 games, and has had more help around him all year than Bryant did... Bryant should be the MVP if the season ended today.

Where does Lebron come into this conversation?

His team is 9 games above .500, fourth in a weak Eastern conference.

and about his wonderful stats, remember this: if the MVP was based on Stats, then Kobe should have won the MVP 2 seasons ago when he averaged 35 ppg.

and the season is not over yet, the Hornets could top the Lakers and Chris Paul could win the award. T-Mac is also on fire these days, but there is no topping the Celtics in the East, which eliminates Lebron out of this contention.

So, Lebron is not the MVP Candidate this season. Case Closed.

Lebron fans, what makes you believe that Lebron should be the MVP?basketball tickets

No doubts, you've said it all.

Lebron fans, what makes you believe that Lebron should be the MVP?nba warriors ,nba teams

Sorry, but you don't have the power to close the case. I don't understand why every Kobe fan is so worried, they are constantly posting things about Kobe being MVP. If you really believe in what your saying... then calm down... Kobe will win MVP if his Lakers continue to go strong in the West, which they will. Sooo calm down... because Kobe will WIN!

and as for LeBron he has plenty of time. PLENTY!
Most Valuable Player. Not best player. Most valuable. Celtics and Lakers could do ok without KB or KG. But the Cavaliers would be beyond bad without Lebron. And also who made you boss of handing out the award. Just because you say its case closed means nothing!
you didn't really asked a question. if you have already made your decision on the matter then don't ever post something like this again.........case closed!
Exactly...Your smart kidd. I think Kobe will win it, he should n e ways.

Kobe Bryant has better total stats than Jordan at age 29 so Kobe is better?

WRONG! Kobe got a three year head start.

I saw some genius say Kobe was better because his stats are better at age 29 than MJ's. No (explicative), I guess so! Kobe will be lucky to finish anywhere close to Jordan. I think Kobe is in his 12th season and MJ played 15. Kobe will have to score 50 ppg for the next three seasons to get anywhere close. I don't even have to get into steals and FG%, because Kobe can't touch him. Jordan shot almost 50% from the field in his career, even with that Washington crap he pulled.

I don't even like Jordan but what the hell? What the hell are these people on to make them say such things? Let's not even get into the rings.

Kobe will never touch him:

5x NBA MVP

6x NBA Champion

6x NBA Finals MVP

Can anyone please give me a valid reason why Kobe will be better than Jordan by the time he is done playing? Are the stats lying or something?

Kobe Bryant has better total stats than Jordan at age 29 so Kobe is better?nba champs

Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player, ever! Period.

Kobe Bryant has better total stats than Jordan at age 29 so Kobe is better?basketball shoes ,nba teams

I think people just have trouble letting go of the fact that jordan is the best, they don't want to admit another has come.

I don't like to compare too much, even though i sometimes do it. I think its best to compare this stuff at the end of their careers when we can look at everything they've done
I don't care what Kobe has done, is doing right now or will do in the future. He will never be as great as Jordan. Jordan transcended the game. Kobe is just another selfish, @sshole punk. He's a great player, don't get me wrong, but Jordan is, and always will be, the greatest of all time.
KOBE BRYANT SUCKS!
that is not true because mj's points per games was 34.7 kobe score is less than his for sure his is mabey 32 point per game kobe could never be better mj
Wow not many Kobe jockers have responded. Or maybe they did and deleted their responses cause face it we all know by now most don't know jack about basketball.

I think JoJo nailed it on the head. Kobe's biggest problem has ALWAYS been his maturity level and teamwork. This season is the first time he has actually grown up. It just took a couple of seasons of trying to do it alone for him to figure it out. 12 to be specific but too bad his career is about 2/3 over. He will never sniff Jordan's career accomplishments.
Make no mistakes about it Dear Buddy! Mr and Mrs Bryants son (KOBE) is as good as advertised and then some. But to compare the 2 is really unfair because we don't truly know exactly what Kobe's career will end like. And to try and put Mr. Lebron James ahead of Kobe is nuts too me considering just how many rings Lebron has. Oh! remember this too? AI and Kobe came to the league in the same year and AI got rookie of the year, Led the league in scoring afew years and we labeled him the answer, But in the end Kobe has shredded all doubters and has been nothing but a top notch player for his whole career, so next time you hear the haters, please remind them too look and Kobe's basketball past and start believing!
Lebron is better than Kobe.

Nash is better than Lebron.

But MJ is still the best.
OMG!! WHO (expletive) CARES!?!?!?!
you are 100% right. people look at stats and think that translates to being a legendary player. hey karl malone scored more points than either guy but is anyone putting him in this discussion? of course not. kobe is a great player, probably one of the best if not the best in the league right now. but on those 3 championship teams he was pippen to shaq's jordan. kobe wouldnt have gotten anywhere close without a dominant shaq changing the game. his stats without shaq, when he was a better and more complete player prove that. and if he doesnt win it all this year, that will be a further indictment of his status because he wont be able to say he wasnt surrounded by great players.

those who say things like kobe is the best ever are usually pretty young and not very knowledgeable about basketball. amongst people who are knowledgeable about basketball the debate is usally jordan vs bill russell or magic or bird. kobe doesnt even register.
Kobe jockers are idiots.

Kobe is arguably one the greatest players in basketball, in the top 100 players to ever play. But here they are talking as if he is the #1. And we current have Lebron James with better stats than Kobe. If we use Kobe jockers' arguments, Lebron must be the greatest to ever play.

Kobe jockers' arguments make no sense at all. Ignore them. I blocked them when I see one. Why should I let people with no knowledge of basketball answer my questions?

then i guess lebron is the best player of all time already. amazing, too bad he will be the best of all time ever and no one can beat him, since kids cant come out of highschool straight to the nba.
dude. jordan is always better. he's world known, got his own corporation, and he didin't cheat on his wife by having sex with some random lady in a hotel.
I think Kobe has the skill level to be as good as Jordan but the fact he didn't go tocollegeand went straight into the nba out of high school really hurt his potential. He never had the chance to learn teamwork or even understand that he is part of a team. In high school as the star player you are depended on to carry the team and be a ball hogging super star but that doesn't work when you're playing with the big boys. I'm not bashing Kobe, I think he's great but I think he missed a lot of the fundamental value of the game by not benefiting from the coaching and discipline a young player receives at thecollegelevel.

LOL...I just read this and would like to go on the record and say that being from Portland, I do not in any way, shape or form like the Lakers of Kobe...Oregonians are born and bred to hate the Lakers! Can you imagine how hard I have it now that I live an hour outside of L.A.?????
