Are the Knicks, NBA's best clutch shooting team?

With numbers of Game winning baskets this season, are the New York Knicks the best of it, or is it just luck?

Are the Knicks, NBA's best clutch shooting team?nba spurs

Nope, its all just luck

Are the Knicks, NBA's best clutch shooting team?basketball ,nba teams

they are lucky New York likes the idea of having a basketball team there...they suck...and have for some time...
NO WAY MAN-------------- MAVERICKS ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!
No...the mavs do..they have dirk, josh, terry, stack.. plus who has the best record? I'ts Dallas, man.
clutch shooting team? gotta factor the W's man. its luck.
its just luck. The Warriors are the best clutch shooting team because Monta Ellis has hit a ton of clutch shots and also Baron Davis.

How do you think Yao ming in Rockets.?

At the beginningof the nba season, every body said rocket is a strong team because of Yao ming, but it let us down. do you think they should have Yao transfer?

How do you think Yao ming in Rockets.?nba live

Yao is way to valuable to trade, even if he demanded it. You have to build a team around him. The rockets need to get a point guard to feed Yao the ball 20+ times a game, and T-Mac needs to stop being a puss and learn how to play through pain.

How do you think Yao ming in Rockets.?tv on pc ,nba teams

the rockets would be crazy to get rid of yao. he is their franchise. yao isnt the one to blame, he is averaging 20 ppg and almost 10 rpg. he is putting up great #s. its his team that is lacking. you dont get rid of yao, you build around him. when you look at box scores, you normally see that only yao and tmac are producing. the rockets made a bad move by trading rudy gay for shane battier. they really need offense from someone besides yao and tmac. plus they have a new coach this year, so it might take some time to get used to adelman.
no i don't think he should transfer
why get rid of yao? who will man your middle?

plus the reason why the rockets are struggling is because tmac is hurt, the guards are not giving yao any chances to score... they are all trying to hog the limelight which is supposed to be with tmac and yao... im very dissapointed how the rockets' guards are playing... they should learn their strength which is inside... they are all trying to win but nobody wants to play the support role...

one more thing that bothers me is that they are relying to tmac too much.. they should learn to play more like a team rather than a superstar oriented team.... give yao some ball and pound the ball inside...

last problem for the rockets is that they lack bigmen... they dont have a backup for scola... they only got a undersized chuck hayes... and who's backing-up yao?mutombo? you have to give the guy some help down low... trade some of the guards and sfs and get some pfs and center...

THE TEAM SHOULD NOT BE LOST WITHOUT YAO OR TMAC!!!!
Oh Yao is no longer a 7-foot project but a real force in the post, plus the mainstream says that a dominant center is a cornerstone for champion, and if such myth remains valid, it sounds like a contradictory statement to trade Yao.
No I love the Rocket but Yao doesnt need to go anywhere our problems is injuries it seems like T-Mac or Yao is getting hurt everygame. When there on the court healthy the team is top 5 in the west but until they stay healthy and get some chemistry the rockets are going best talked about as a let down this season.
i live in houston and my dad is a big fan of the rockets.

and u can see Yao ming suck he has to much turn overs does good in free throws he should be better than shaq.
Yep they should transfer him back to china.

Baseball video games?

Does anyone know if MLB 2K7 OR MLB THE SHOW 2007 keep last season stats. For example, in a franchise mode, when you play a season and you accumulate the total and then finishing the season. You move onto next season, can we see last season's totals and the year's before. It's similar to NBA 2k6, we are able to keep/ and view our career totals up-to-date. Which game has that?

I think MLB 2K6 does. Not sure about any of the 2007 games.

My top 10 NBA players today.. Agree or disagree?

these are my top 10 players today

1. nash - the head of the snake of one of the most exciting team in the league, makes his teammates better.

2. kobe - cant say about these guy, these player probably has no weakness from his game.. can shoot anywhere on the floor. he's the player you dont want to shoot in clutch situation if you're an opposing team

3. wade - one of the best young stars.. i pick ahead of lebron bec he's a different player when the game is on the line, just like kobe

4. duncan - the best player of the last team standing last season

5. lebron - incredible quickness at his size, great passer, probably no one in the league can stop him on the open court.. he needs to polish his killer instinct and improve his decision making during crucial moments of the game.

My top 10 NBA players today.. Agree or disagree?baseball

I agree totally with most your picks. particularly nash and kobe. Not so sure about wade yet, id put him lower on the list till we see how good he is this next season.

Lebron and duncan i'd say are interchangeable, both amazing players, but lebron is younger and has more future.

T-Mac is great but he DID win a playoff series when he was with the raps (go T.O.!!) although he wasnt as important. Im not sure id rate TMac above JKidd though.

So Conc. Good top 10, if i had to change it would be this:

1.Nash

2. Kobe

3. Duncan

4. Lebron

5. Wade

6. KG

7. Nowitzki

8. JKidd

9. TMac

10. Yao

My top 10 NBA players today.. Agree or disagree?nba playoff schedule ,nba teams

one thing pal, tmac HASN'T win a playoff series yet.. he left toronto in summer of 2000 and the raptors first playoff series win was 2001.. Report It

disagree wheres rip hamiliton Report It

1.lebron james

2.nash

3.nowitzki

4.KG

5.d wade

6.yao

7.arenas

8.melo

9.chris paul

10.dwight howard Report It

where is Iverson??????????
disagree, KG should be #1 kobe should be #5
i agree except on one.. wheres tony parker?
looks good, but I'd have include Shaq in there. I know he's getting old, but he's still the most dominant big man in the game, when he applies himself and when he's healthy. Would also slide KG down the list...
Thats a very nice top 10, however, i dont think nash would be #1, hes like top 5 for me, these are my players:

1. Kobe

2. Yao

3. Wade

4. Nash

5. Lebron

6. Garnett

7. Arenas

8. Duncan

9. Tmac

10. Vince Carter
Disagree

- Nash doesn't play defense...flopping is not defense. SO that makes him not good at everything in basketball so he is not the best player in the game...I would put him at no. 3 behind kobe at 1 and duncan at 2

- Kobe is the best player in the game...he would be a willing passer if his teammates could actually catch basketballs and have an IQ! He is a very skilled player and a top notch defender

- Wade over duncan...are you kidding me? who needed 97 free throws while shooting 44 % from the field to win the finals? NOT DUNCAN

- Kevin Garnett belongs in the top 10 but not that high...if he was that GOOD he would've gone to the playoffs with a decent team around him such as Ricky Davis and Randy Foye

the rest look aiite for me
MELO !!! Do you see how much he has improved ? You need to watch the FIBA Games, he is a beast now.
I think you forgot someone on your list....................................... IVERSON!!! ALLEN IVERSON!!! ALLEN IVERSON!!!, plus Carmelo Anthony he is playing possessed on Team USA and what about Vince Carter, I know Jason Kidd is in the Nets to but without Vince Carter the Nets would not be in the playoffs and Gilbert Arenas the man can playmake, score and play defense.

Heres my top 10

1. Kobe Bryant

2. Tim Duncan

3. Kevin Garnett

4. Allen Iverson

5. Jason Kidd

6. Steve Nash

7. Dirk Nowitzki

8. Gilbert Arenas

9. Vince Carter

10. Tracy McGrady..the only reason why he's last is because he has never won a playoff series in 11 years in the NBA.

Following that would be Carmelo Lebron and Wade in that order. Both LeBron and Wade GOT LUCKY to go the NBA Finals and everyone KNOWS IT.
No argument here.
Kinda disagree

1. Kobe

2. Lebron

3. Duncan

4. Nash

5. Garnett

6. Wade

7. Yao

8. Nowitzki

9. Dwight Howard

10. SHAQ

Why I still say Shaq, because whenever he's on the court everyone get better even though he doesnt dominate as much.
Nash and Duncan are definitely #1 and 2.
billups?!-----def one of the top ten to me anyway....you gotta admit hes pretty damn good!!
I believe in what I believe it's just what I believe so I should believe what I believe in you know?
I agree pretty much on all of them but again where is Tony Parker?
i think Yao should be in the top 5......and i disagree with Kidd being on your list, hes a great player but i dont think he should be on the list...i also think KG should be lower in the rankings..
I agree with u. except maybe jason kidd can switch with dwight howard or amare stoudemire. i like the list a lot, because u listed all the great players, except i might disagree some with the placing of the players. good work.
I'd say that you have a pretty nice top ten on the whole, but you need to do some more research on Kobe. He is not clutch. He is actually 15-58 shooting in the clutch, which is terrible as you probably already know.

In the 2003 NBA Draft, why did the Pistons take Darko Milicic over the other 10-20 superstars?

IMO, the Pistons taking Darko Milicic over Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, Mirk Hinrich, Josh Howard and like a hundred other better players was the biggest mistake in draft history. It wasn't even because they didn't know who was good! I mean, Carmelo Anthony was the star player of the bestcollegebasketball team that season and they still took this stiff, weak, no talent whatsoever Darko Milicic over him. I know that the draft doesn't determine who's gonna be good and who's gonna be bad, but I think that I COULD HAVE made a better decision on who should be choosen #2.

What were the Pistons thinking?

In the 2003 NBA Draft, why did the Pistons take Darko Milicic over the other 10-20 superstars?lakers

Personally, I think that Larry Brown went drastically downhill in the last five years or so and everyone was afraid to say so, though he is probably not to blame for that disastrous draft as much as Dumars.

The sour old nut Brown was utterly pathetic in the Olympics, burying LeBron and Melo on the bench while watching his "proven veterans" humiliate and embarass the entire nation.

Carmelo was leading scorer in the NBA before last month's incident, and to all his detractors, he did win a national championship at Syracuse, and he is still only what 23? He may have several rings before he is done.

To answer your question, the pick is still utterly incomprehensible.

In the 2003 NBA Draft, why did the Pistons take Darko Milicic over the other 10-20 superstars?nba merchandise ,nba teams

The Pistons messed up. They needed a Center so they drafted the Top Rated Center in the draft. They were fine with Prince and Billups and Wallace. Then the other Wallace stepped up big time, and got all the playing time. So they believed Ben would be their answer at Center and traded Darko. Then Ben left and now their ****d out of luck. Luck of the Draw I guess. They were trying to fill a vulnerability, but they dropped the ball.
That year, the Pistons won the championship. So maybe... if they drafted Carmelo, they wouldnt have gotten Rasheed Wallace as a free agent, who was KEY in their run, and maybe the Pistons would STILL be without a title.

They drafted Darko because they thought he had Dirk-like potential, but apparently he doesnt. They took a gamble and lost.
No clue, some teams are obsessed with these unproven foreign dudes who tore it up in italy/france/greece (against players who will never step foot on an nba court)....rather thancollegeplayers who play against other players who are going to be future nba stars. That was a bad gamble b/c not every foreigner pans out....but carmelo was going to be a sure bet to be a star, we all saw that one comming!
I have no idea but that was a really bad decision. Where's Darko now? Probably shining shoes somewhere. lol
Yes, they took him cuz he was tall and the team desperately needed a future Center at the time.

He was rated top Center in that draft. He just didn't get the floor time and confidence to pan out into an All Star Center.
yeah they were loaded at every position and thier bench was deep. they draft any of those other players they would have taken away playing time. by the way Darko won an NBA title in his first year. Other than Dwayne Wade name another player from that draft whose one an NBA championship or even come close?
I know this will sound stupid, but that Pistons' team was actually somewhat fortunate to get what they got. That team was based on the basic fundamental of "Teamwork". You look at someone like Carmelo Anthony, and I don't think teamwork is in his vocabulary. The only real big acquisition they made was to get Rasheed Wallace. With Rip, Chauncey, Big Ben, "Sheed, Okur, T-Prince, etc. they had depth, talent, and most importantly, chemistry. Bosh or Wade would've been good in that lineup, but you really never know what a rookie will pan out to, and Detroit wasn't the only one high on Darko that year.
Seriously, I think the Pistons didn't want any superstar cause they already had a team.

Looking at it now, with big Ben Wallace gone to Chicago, maybe they should have made Milicic play a little more cause frankly, he's not bad at all... Ok he's not a superstar in Orlando right now but I really think not playing for all those years made him bad.
Many teams in their position would have taken Darko at #2. In recent years, with foreign prospects and younger players, the draft is increasingly a crap shoot; every year when people say the draft is weak, that is never quite right. There are excellent players just about every year, it just becomes more and more difficult to tell which players they are.

As it turns out, sure, Darko was the wrong pick in any case. But that is with the benefit of hindsight. In my mind, the real error Detroit made was keeping that pick and drafting a rookie that they knew wasn't going to get playing time on that team for years to come. By the time Darko's rookie contract was winding down, they were going to have to decide whether to give him a large contract, and had no idea at all what he would do against NBA competition. Taking Darko in particular was a mistake, but knowing that would have required predicting the future. But taking a rookie, sitting him on the bench for a few years, then being forced to trade him without having any idea what you drafted is the sort of mistake that you could see coming and avoid.

As it stands now, I'm still not sure we have any idea how good Darko is. Safe to say he's not going to be as good as Melo, Bosh, or Wade, but I think he's already better than most people realize, and probably still has room to improve given that he is only now starting to get the regular play time that those other guys got years ago.
Because the're excellently stupid
Hindsight is 20/20 and he still seems to have a huge upside. I think Larry brown ruined his confindence. He should have gotten playing time his 2nd and 3rd year, but yeah there have been alot of busts over the years....chris washburn, dennis hopson, sam bowie (although injuries got him). It happens.
well in the minds of the detroit pistons they felt that darko milicic was a can't miss prospect although they knew that it would take him longer to develop but you're right they could have had carmelo anthony or dwayne wade or chris bosh or a number of other players that came out that year anyway that's what happens when you overestimate your ability to scout talent you ultimately end up outsmarting yourself

Why is Lebron Not A Ballhog?

Why is Lebron not a ballhog when he shoots for 8-42 in two games? He went for 2-18 in game 1 then 6-24 in game 2. He also commited 17 turnovers in two games. If he's not a ballhog then why does he awfully shoot like that and turn the ball over? Why don't he just pass the ball or is it because his pride doesn't let him do it. Also are all those stats during the NBA season all for show? Is he just playing for stats? Well to bad, he still sucks. Next MJ my *ss! He's unclutch!

Lebron: "No, I can't pass the ball. If I do that and some other guy scores well, I won't be hero. It's better if we lose than me not putting on a show."

By the way, all those rebounds and assist? He only makes assists after he is already scoring well and those rebounds? He is just grabbing them to better his stats. BALLHOG!

Why is Lebron Not A Ballhog?nba champions

Shooting 2-18 11% FG and 10 Turn-Overs, 6-24 25% FG and 7 Turn-Overs?

THAT'S A BALLHOG!

Why doesn't he pass the ball to Ilgauskas who was shooting better than him?!

Why is Lebron Not A Ballhog?nba spurs ,nba teams

you are an idiot. don't you remember when LeBron passed the ball to Delonte West for that gamewinner? Boston's defense is just too good and it's not made any easier on LeBron when you have the liability known as Ben Wallace on the court.
wtf? "No, I can't pass the ball. If I do that and some other guy scores well, I won't be hero. It's better if we lose than me not putting on a show."

Lebron is know for his passing and being unselfish.. lebron's teammates want him to shoot.. dumb asz.
True that and he cant even shoot a decent jump shot i have no idea why people think hes the best i mean the wizards were right to call him over rated he is over rated and im sure everybody but lebron fans think that
He is a ball hog. Is there even an argument? No player can average thirty and not be a ball hog... especially with that shooting percentage.
Not at all a ball hog!!! Can NoT judge Lebron just for two games....He will come around ...Look out King James will RisE Up!!! ohh chit did you see that.....
BullHog
Queen Lechoke.... The next who?
loser
thank you thats wat i been trying to stay.. his stats are overated

Stephon Marbury's future...?

How will Stephon Marbury play next NBA Season ? Will he be able to play like he used to play a couple of years back or will he continue to bad ?

Stephon Marbury's future...?nba all star game

He said he wanted to play in Italy after his NBA career, which could be soon.

Stephon Marbury's future...?knicks ,nba teams

IN the slammer!
His future will be selling his StarBerry shoes at a Flea Market.
If this stupid Isaih project doesn't get blown up this season it will the season after next when Marbury's contract is up and he goes to italy to live out the rest of his career.

He's given up on the NBA. In fact he gave up on the NBA when he was traded from Minnesota the first time. He was angry that he was taking second billing to Kevin Garnett and has maintained that attitude throughout his entire career. Just another selfish player that think he's too good for the league in my opinion.
He sucks and nobody wants him!!
