LOGIC: well the Heat are one of the worst teams in the EAST heck the whole NBA. What they have going right now is obviously not working.

Zo is out for season, Shaq is too old. They need a/some Centers and to change their whole scheme.

If the Lakers want to contend with the Spurs, Celtics, and Pistons (who btw are the only teams that could beat the Lakers in a series as of now) they need that dominance in the paint. Obviously Shaq is not nearly as dominant as he once was, However the current Laker team has good shot at making the Western Conference Finals. That would be enough to pump up shaq and get his drive going. And trust me, shaq does want more rings, he has gone on record saying "I know I have 3 rings, but I'm greedy, I want more" that was when he was on Miami.

and why would miami do this? they dont get anyone back with value. mihm is always hurt, radmonovics contract is huge, and kwame brown can leave in 1 year after his contract is up. how does that help miami with their center problem? i would say shaq %26gt; mihm. so miami downgrades here and defeats your entire logic. lakers cant make it to the western conference, youre kidding yourself if you think they can. a series is different from a single game. the suns have knocked them off the past couple years, theres no reason why they can do it again. so what if LA beat them twice this year, in a series, you make adjustments. until LA can beat phx in a series, phx is still better. dallas is still better.

miami wont do this deal unless bynum is involved period. trust me on that. so there is no deal because LA wont trade bynum. you laker fans are all the same. trying to make a deal to make your team good while making the other teams suck. trying to make a deal where you dont give up odom/kobe/bynum and expect to get great players back.
I think that if you added one more person for the Lakers to send to the Heat that might be a good trade but I don't think that Shaq would want to go back to LA and I'm not sure that the Lakers would want him back.
neither team would be happy after this trade for shaq now sucks and those other 3 guys are all subs
