Does anyone honestly think they will beat the spurs.?

As a suns fan, i have to admit there is not one team in the NBA who has the what it takes to win a championship more than the spurs. Spurs have a great PF, the BEST backcourt in the nba, sensational defense, and the league all in there favor. After watching my suns go 3-1 during the season, then drop 3 straight in playoffs, it would be safe to say that maybe the spurs were holding themselves back. Sorry laker/celtic fans, spurs will probably win it all...again..

you have to factor in that the 3-1 wasnt with the same team. after they traded for shaq, it has been a entirely different team. i think its time or nearly time to begin rebuilding the suns, again... sorry, im just being realistic, i am a suns fan too.

i wouldnt discount other teams being able to beat the spurs. the lakers might match up better, they have decent players at nearly every position. theres always a chance some team could seriously surprise us too, like the hornets. as far as the finals, im not sure boston can beat the spurs in 7, detroit might be able to, if theyre playing decent.

anyhow, lets enjoy basketball for now, the season is nearly over.

But win the series...Not a chance in hell. The Sun can't beat the Spurs 4 straight.

Right now the Suns are playing purely off of the emotion of trying to recover from the embarrassment of game 3.

the same spurs team lost to dallas in 2006 4-2, that dallas team is arguably weaker than today's celtics or lakers. also, flash back a little farther to 2004 - lakers (with shaq) whip the spurs 4-2. it has been done it can be done and it will be done again this year. san antonio plays borning predictable ball which talented teams can overcome!

I disagree with you. I am a Laker fan and I believe that the Lakers can beat the Spurs and will beat the Spurs if we get the chance to face them. If you think about it the Lakers teams that won the championships were not better then the team the Lakers have now. We have the Kobe, Fisher and Jackson just like we did before and besides from Shaq the Lakers didnt really have that much talent back then. I believe that Gasol+Odom+our bench%26gt; Shaq+Horry+ a bunch of other scrubs we had.

I agree, the Spurs won't be giving up their Championship title to another team anytime soon. Spurs will go all the way and win it again this year. They won last year because they were the best and they are even stronger this year. They just keep getting better. Most consistant team in the league.
