Shaquille O'NEal is the greatest of all time. Everything he touches in the NBA turns to gold. Kobe and Dwayne have both blossomed into two of the biggest stars in the NBA. HE wins, scores, and just the prescence of him alters teams game plans to stop him. He even has his own defensive scheme by the name of "hack-a-shaq." And after all that, teams still can't stop him.
Based on stats I think that Jordan is the best player of all time considering he opened a new door to the game of basketball. However, I believe that LeBron James will be making and breaking some of those records. He is a young player and already playing like some of the vets have never played before.
Oh, you crazy young'uns. The Big "O" was the best all around player ever. Players beat their chests over a triple double game these days. Oscar Robertson AVERAGED a triple double over the course of the 1962 season. Jordan was great no doubt, Oscar is right there with him. He just never gets the props he deserves.

MJ won and earned 6 rings. He willed himself and team to win. The guy that says Kobe is high. The next closest in the NBA is Dwayne Wade out of Marquette Univ,Milwaukee. of course talking now on the Wade thing.
